The seeded data is one evening on a small network: a VPN concentrator degrading until the kernel kills it, an access port flapping until it is error-disabled, somebody working through a user list against the bastion, and a backup running long. Messages keep arriving while you read, as they would from real devices.

Filter by severity, host, application or free text, and sort or group the result. Open a message to see every parsed field and the raw frame it arrived as. Switch to Stats for the severity breakdown and the top talkers.

Look at Alerts to see the four rules and what they caught, and at Routing for the three destinations — a SIEM over mutual TLS, a chat webhook and an on-call mailbox — with the delivery log underneath. Add a rule or a destination of your own; they behave as they would in the application.

Press the small ghost at the bottom of the sidebar for anonymous mode, and the theme and language controls beside it.

What it cannot do is anything that needs the machine underneath. Exporting to a file, opening a file dialog, compacting the database, starting the traffic generator, applying an update, sending a real test message to a destination — each of those says so rather than pretending to have done it.

There is no listener behind this page either, so nothing can be sent to it. A web page cannot open port 514. For that, download the application — it is one executable with no runtime to install.

The demo keeps its own state in your browser's local storage, so anything you change here stays until you clear it. Reloading starts the evening again.
